The materials are designed to support the developing thinking pedagogy and assessment for learning principles.

The materials are also aligned with the skills framework for 3 to 19-year-olds in Wales and the National Curriculum subject orders for science, information and communication technology, geography and design and technology.

The materials are designed around each of the following cross-curricular themes: celebrations; heroes; homes; rubbish; transport; work.
