ContinYou

ContinYou, a registered charity, is one of the UK’s leading community learning organisations and believes in the power of learning as a means of achieving social justice. ContinYou Cymru is the Wales based directorate of ContinYou.
We have extensive experience in the field of out of school hours learning. We provide a support service for out of school hours learning thanks to funding from the Welsh Assembly Government. This service includes producing resources to help all those involved in developing and delivering out of school hours learning programmes and opportunities.
We now also provide ‘supporting community focused schools’ a service for all LEAs, in conjunction with the Association of Directors of Education Wales. Out of school hours learning is a key part of community focused schools development.
We are delighted that the National Grid for Learning Cymru is making our Extra Time resources available here.
More resources on Sum It! (maths clubs), supporting homework, reading clubs and OwnZone (care, out of school hours learning and pastoral support for secondary age pupils) will be coming soon. A new, revised code of practice for out of school hours learning will be available in March.
