| Bear journey | The children take the Roamer, which had been transformed into a bear, on a journey which related to the Bear Hunt story. |
| Castell Henllys | The class visited the iron age hill fort and on their return discussed and expressed their likes and dislikes. These were entered on a database. |
| Picture Story | Pupils write an account of their visit to a contrasting locality using text and pictures taken from ClipArt. A picture is used instead of a written word to create a picture story. |
| Rainforests | Using a range of sources including the internet, pupils researched the topic and created their own class book. |
| Roamer | The children program a sequence of instructions within the context of story maps and use creative writing and an art package to complete the task. |
| Roamer visits the shops | Reception pupils go shopping with the Roamer floor turtle. They command the Roamer to visit the shops in turn to buy certain food products. |
| The River Cleddau | Using satellite images and Ordinance Survey map information, pupils overlay the images with the course of the river. |
| Uganda | Pupils planned the presentation as a storyboard, working in groups to plan and produce slides, researching their topic and copying and pasting graphics and text. |
