Pupils in the class were studying the book ‘The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe’. They used Storybook Weaver to create their own version of the story. Each child making their own contribution

Skills Covered
The children followed the main outlines of the story and created their own versions. They developed their imaginative skills and their use of the tools in Storybook Weaver.

Rationale
The activity develops the pupils imaginative skills and allows them to develop their story structure skills in an interesting manner. The use of ICT not only enhances the presentation of the final product but helps to develop understanding of narrative.

Result
The children produced their own versions of the story.
