| Victorian presentation | MLD pupils visit the schoolroom at St. Ffagan's, where they act as Victorian schoolchildren in a role-play. They present their experiences using multimedia software. |
| Henry VIII | Using draft work on Henry VIII, the class produced Tudor Newsletters. These were then made into a class book. |
| Richard Trevithick | Children researched given websites, and then summarised the information they found by putting it into a newspaper. |
| The Village | A class survey of the village was undertaken. The class correlated the information gathered, then created a database. |
| Tudors and Stuarts | The children search for information on a specific monarch using encyclopaedias, reference books and the class display as a stimulus. |
| Fishing week | Using old photographs of the local fishing industry in the village and photos of current events, children create a presentation of the topic. |
| Romans for a day | Year 3 pupils write an account of a visit to a historical Roman Site. They help the reader of their accounts by adding a glossary of terms. |
| 1851 Census returns | Children were learning how to use a prepared database to answer questions which relied on more than one variable. |
| Tudor Kings and Queens | The children were able to create interesting and informative multimedia presentations. |
| Llancaiach Fawr | Following a class visit to Llancaiach Fawr, the children worked in groups to develop multimedia reports on their visit. |
| Local history project | The children were able to produce useful mini web sites on aspects of local history. |
| School history presentation | The children were asked to plan and create a PowerPoint slideshow to present aspects of the research project that had been undertaken on the school s history. |
