Countdown to Copenhagen schools pack: ‘The Big Climate Change Debate – how to play your part’

This pack enables pupils to take part in a mock debate on Climate Change based on the United Nations (UN) COP15 conference. It can also be used to look at the outcomes of the talks and challenge pupils as to whether they agree with the decisions and what they can do about the issues themselves.

The pack includes a set of activities including ‘top trumps’ cards, role-play and research opportunities. Players can take a number of roles, from acting as UN Secretary General, to being a journalist and asking tough questions.
