This website is designed to provide a collection of virtual tours around Welsh medieval castles and fortified houses in order to increase pupils’ knowledge and understanding of Welsh heritage.

The units consider why the castles and houses were built, what it was like to live in them and how they have changed over the years. It is hoped that the website will act as a bridging resource for teachers of Years 6 and 7.
