Written by Mr. P. Vickers, Head of IT at Brynteg Comprehensive School, the content of this site is based on the WJEC's syllabi.
The material is split into 'lesson sized' sections and may be used as lesson plans or for revision, taking you through sections ranging from 'A computer system' to 'Applications'. It also includes past papers with sample answers.
MAPE
MAPE is a registered charity whose main aim is to support and encourage effective use of ICT in Primary education. Their website features 2 main areas for teachers: Curriculum and KidsMAPE.
- Curriculum includes articles, case studies and reviews drawn from past and current MAPE publications
- KidsMAPE provides a selection of interactive classroom activities including database activities, on-line treasure hunts, historical picture quizzes, big books, a big book maker and text disclosure activities for use in literacy teaching.
