LEA Sites
The web links that follow provide access to all the Local Education Authorities in Wales. In some cases it is necessary to go through the general local authority site by searching on the term ‘Education’ or 'Education & Leisure’.
Within each authority, websites of educational value are also identified. These can relate directly to LEA services or to projects and special initiatives run by the authority.

Bridgend Grid for Learning
A website produced by Bridgend teachers and LEA ICT advisory and ICT development staff to promote the sharing of good practice and the discussion of new ideas within Bridgend.
Caerphilly Learning Forum
The Forum promotes professional dialogue about learning, encourages classroom-based action research and provides a platform for research findings. It also provides a network of training and support for schools and disseminates good practice through seminars, conferences, newsletter and the web-site.
Cardiff LEA - Whiteboard resources
These are whiteboard resources developed by Cardiff LEA. They cover a range of subjects and provide useful information for teachers on how utilise whiteboard technologies effectively. The resources will be embedded into NGfL Cymru over time but are very useful in their original form.
Cardiff LEA - KS2/3 ICT unit
This is a Cardiff LEA bridging unit providing KS2/3 ICT activities, supported by a levelled example World War II History project.
Cynnal
This is the advisory organisation for Conwy, Gwynedd and Ynys Mon. A bi-lingual site containing useful resources for Pupils and Teachers.

Covering a full range of educational technology, it has been working in the field of IT in education.
