Art and Geometry Having considered some of the designs by the artist William Morris and designer Laura Ashley, the children were asked to use the art package Primary Colours to produce their own imaginative design.
Butterflies Year 1 and Year 2 pupils use an art package for the first time and explore colour, design and symmetry.
Funny faces The children are using a paint program to "edit" a previously scanned photograph.
Funny faces collage Within their topic on food, pupils use an art program and choose elements of pictures to create a face.
Molly's hair Year 1 pupils use an art package to draw Molly after she has been to the hairdressers
Mondrian The pupils create a picture in the style of Mondrian who only used vertical and horizontal lines and primary colours in his later works.
My family calendar Year 2 pupils draw their families on the computer and the picture is used to make their annual school calendar.
My world The children were the using the ‘My World’ program to make a picture and add labels to it.
Photo montages Children from years 5 and 6 explored and manipulated different photographic images.
Picasso Guernica Pupils in Year 5 study the work of the artists, particularly Guernica, and recreate the picture in a variety of formats.
Pointillism - dot pictures Year 4 children create their own dot pictures in the style of Seurat, a Pointillist artist.
Portrait symmetry The children used a wide range of ICT skills to explore and apply artistic methods when editing and saving new images.
Stained glass windows Children learn how to apply their IT skills to work in Art and Religious Education as they use a graphics package to explore and realise their ideas
The carp As part of a study on Japan, this activity involved doing some art work on the PC for display purposes whilst practising mouse skills and paint skills.
The Three Billy Goats Having listened to the story, the children work in pairs to develop their own illustrated alternative versions of the story.
Zoombinis The program is designed to explore and apply fundamental principles of logic, problem solving and data analysis.
