Line graphs Pupils input data into a table, create graphs and compare their findings as they interpret the graphs.
Shoe size The children are introduced to using spreadsheets using data from a survey of shoe sizes in the class.
Squares investigation The children program the Roamer to draw different squares and measure their perimeters.
Visitors to school Having collected the information, pupils entered it into Starting Graph and produced block graphs to show their results.
Where do you live? The children collect their data and input it into the computer. They think of field titles and of a logical way to input and interrogate the information.
Goals scored Children use an internet football site to locate a range of data which is then used to create a spreadsheet and graph in Excel.
The Crystal Rainforest This program includes a series of carefully structured puzzles and problems that introduce the children to Logo.
Multiplication presentation Year 6 pupils prepare a multi media presentation of the two times table for year 1 pupils.
Branching databases Pupils produce branching databases for Maths but they have to choose their own objects to sort. This involves questioning and research skills.
